Alex Voorloop

Allthough my website is completely Dutch I will explain something about myself below.

I started taking photographs at a young age with my mom's analogue camera (a Fujica SLR, not sure what type.)
Usually things that interested me were documented, not paying attention to composition.

In 2000 or 2002 my parents bought a digital compactcamera (a PowerShot A40) which I have used a lot.
In 2005 I bought my first digital compactcamera (a PowerShot A95) that I could take anywhere I want.
I have documented (because they usually could not be called photo's because I wasn't thinking about my composition) a lot with that camera, but noticed that it had it's shortcomings.

After three years I noticed that I wanted to do more with a photocamera and bought an EOS 450D in 2008.

In 2009 I became a voluntary camera operator and photographer for the local television station of my city and get tips in photography from a professional camera operator.
