betirri

Betirri was born in 1982 in Puebla, Mexico. In 1997, he moved with his mother and his two siblings to Houston, TX where they still currently reside. In Houston, Betirri continued his lifelong interest in art and architecture and obtained his Bachelors of Arts in Architecture from the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and his Bachelors of Fine Arts at the University of Houston. He also studied abroad in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy where he had the opportunity to experience and embrace the grandeur of some of the world's greatest artists and their culture.
Betirri has been gaining much international momentum as more people are finding out about his art. He is best known for Futbol Series, in which he vividly paints the passionate essence of team rivalries in the "beautiful game". His other works include the Border Series, Olympic Series, Architecture Series, and the fun and lively Vitamin Series.
Betirri's work exhibits his vast artistic range. He has a poignant natural ability to see things with an expansive view and then beautifully transform his vision into art. Bettiri's aspiration is to continue to unite the undying passion for futbol with the eternal beauty of art, and through his work, he hopes to one day become a part of art history.
