Camila Oliveira

Camila Gonçalves de Oliveira, stage name Camila Oliveira, born in Recife / PE. Draws, paints and sculpts since childhood form of self-taught and in 2010, graduated in Visual Arts at the Federal University of Paraíba.
Had his first exhibition held three days of the 30th of September 2014 entitled "This is not just about me," where they were exposed thirty works of various times and artist techniques. The works in this exhibition dialogued with quotes from authors who had as artists, writers cartoon characters. The phrases created a conceptual atmosphere around the works.
His second exhibition is titled "I turn into other" is a series of digital paintings that portray Frida Kahlo becoming iconic characters of classic and current movies. The interdisciplinary approach is what guides this series of Fridas, when the artist enters in his works the first, third, sixth and seventh gear.
Currently works with furniture design, conceptual tattoos custom design, continues to work on orders for Fridas related to other films and is making his third series is entitled "Dia de Los Muertos" where deceased artists will be portrayed changing with skulls Mexican style. The Los Muertos Day is a celebration of indigenous, traditional Mexico, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO, which celebrates life, death and rebirth. From this concept, this series is designed to celebrate the life and work of renowned artists nominated by the public thus creating an interaction between the public and art.
