I have been photographing landscapes for many years and am constantly moving forward (I hope...) . I started with film and my own very basic dark room and moved to digital as soon as the quality was high enough for a decent photo.. I have a few cameras but prefer a canon 7D with a few different lenses including three telephotos,(canon,tamron,and sigma.)and a several favorite primes.. I am a fan of 50mm prime photography and use two,a 1.4 and a 1.2,both canon..I also dabble with Macro and use a 100mm prime and ring flash.. I am usually hiking in to the area I wish to photograph and the equipment has to be durable and fairly light weight..I do most of my signed/numbered printing in house to keep the integrity of my images complete. I can print up to 17×24 using a Epson 3880 fine art printer on archival luster paper or 100% cotton rag fine art paper.. I keep most printing runs to 25 copies and then archive the master for the current owners protection.I also maintain and operate a custom woodworking shop for custom framing projects on a case by case basis..
