Head Pixie and Pixel Pusher at Pixielated Pixels. I'm British born but NY City based & spend my time creating digitally enhanced images. Photography's been an absolute obsession since I was 13. I had a darkroom once but hated chemicals and waiting for results. In 1986 my first chunky PC images were digitized into an Amiga 1000 using a B&W CCTV camera making 3 exposures through a color wheel. Today, at last, using Photoshop I feel that I can create the images I see in my mind's eye.

I am a photographer based in Stockholm, Sweden.

JUANCARLOSMEDINA began his professional career in Advertising and Design over a decade ago. After graduation in Caracas he inmediately began working in the design and advertising on travel, entertainment, events and packaging accounts while attaining a wide range of creative design skill such and package design, event design, marketing design, and now photography.

He then moved to New York where followed by his passion for art got another degree as Communication Designer from the FIT class 2008, that opened his vision to his new hobbi: travel photography, in 2010 he published his first photography book "Un día, papá me dijo que soñara..." dedicated to his father.

Über meine Person:

Am 19.September im letzten Jahrtausend, mitten in der Nacht erblickte ich das Licht der Welt in Oberschlesien.
Seit September 1988 lebe ich mit meiner Familie in Baden- Württemberg in der Nähe von Stuttgart.
Verheiratet, 3 Kinder.

Beruflich habe ich Jahrelang als Raumausstatterin gearbeitet.

Nachdem mein Vater einen schweren Schlaganfall erlitt,(2006) habe ich meinen Beruf aufgeben müssen. Ich bin eine Pflegerin meines Vaters geworden. Ich versuche meine Freizeit zu nutzen in dem ich meine Vorliebe zur Malerei fortsetze.
Mein Vater ist ein Künstler, er hat mir viel beigebracht.

Das Malen war immer und bleibt meine Leidenschaft.
Es ist für mich wie ein magischer Teppich, der mich an jeden nur vorstellbaren Ort bringen kann.
Damit schaffe ich den perfekten ‘geistigen‘ Ausgleich zu meinem Alltag und steigere mein persönliches Wohlbefinden.
Ich liebe die Natur.
Mein Schwerpunkt ist realistische Ölmalerei und Digital Painting- (nicht so lange)

Fotografieren ist im Moment für mich mein größtes Hobby.
Meine handgemalte Bilder sind schon durch die große Zahl von Fotos nach unten gerutscht.Aus dem Grund habe ich eine neue Seite nur für die Malerei eingerichtet.

Meine Digitalcam und Camcorder sind mein ständiger Begleiter,fotografieren hat mir immer viel Spass gemacht.Die neueste Technik macht es möglich Makroaufnahmen zu machen,was mich sehr faszieniert.
Es gibt keine Motive die ich bevorzüge ,ich fotografiere alles was sich für ein Kunstwerk eignet und zum leben gehört.

Transsexualism: happens in both women as in men and is characterized by a gender identity opposite sex (gender discrepancy )........................ Transsexualism is not the same as transvestism, a term referring to a male individual that feminine sometimes wear clothes but does not want to change sex.

Photographie ... bewegende Momente festhalten, denn Kunst ist der Moment, den es sich lohnt festzuhalten. Kunst ist der Moment, der uns den Atem anhalten lässt. Kunst ist das, was aus dem Alltäglichen herausragt. Kunst ist das Alltägliche, aus einem anderen Blickwinkel betrachtet.
