i My name is Moonlake in reality Tanya, but all my friends call me Moonie, I live in Blyth Northumberland, not far from the sea, and I get a lot of inspiration from the area, Northumberland is a beautiful place, with all it’s castles, and history as well as the fantastic people, the friendliest I have met, its a joy to live here, originally from Wales a small pit village (was) in Ystalyfera in between Swansea and Neath, up the valleys. I love all kinds of art and will give anything a go, my passion is 3-D art but I have to manipulate it with Photoshop the one tool I could not live without. Photography I do when I can, but my husband is the awesome one for Photography so I let him carry on :) keeps us both amused. I love walking in Northumberland usually find me and the hubby up at Hauxley, druridge and otterburn. Favourite walking areas. I hope you like my art, from the smallest card to the big art pieces I make from my heart, each one is a labour of love I just hope that shows and you enjoy what you see. huge hugs Moonie xx avalonbears@talktalk.net

My preferred method is paperwork. I’m creating collages by using different kinds of illustrations, such as newspaper, books or calendars. For this handcraft I need good scissors and glue. I’m not using digital processing in my works.

My source of inspiration is life itself. Every encounter means inspiration. To express the vital forces is my intention.

When I start a new work, there is nothing I’m thinking of, no idea. It’s a flow. My intuition is leading me.

When the work is finished, I’m always surprised of the result. It’s a journey.
