Oliver Wood

I’m very interested in beguiling subject matter, the feeling of mystique or vague unfamiliarity in the commonplace. I live in an environment that is rich with a sense of moody oddness and curiosity, characterised by hidden secret places, hills, woodlands and plains all intermingling with one another in a rich pallet of velvet greens and dotted with eccentric historic structures. It is the county that inspired Lewis Carroll after all.

I tend to be a highly eclectic photographer and subjects and themes are varied, though there is always a sense of deep study and intensity to my work. I also spend a lot of time working on commercial projects and portraits. I am particularly keen on music related subjects, especially as contemporary jazz is my other great passion in life.
