Graeme Pettit

Fine Art, Landscape and Wildlife photographer, Graeme Pettit, spent his working life within land based industries and giving related training. Working daily with complex machinery, in farming, forestry and horticulture, and having a deep interest in the development of our industrial heritage, much of his non landscape/wildlife work features the lost industries and machinery of days gone by.

Now based in the Snowdonia National Park in Wales, and operating a gallery and studio in the middle of Beddgelert Forest - Oriel Hafod Ruffydd - visitors are also be able to purchase his sculptural work in metal and wood, as well as his wife, Sue's, paintings in oils.

Widely traveled, his own website features a vast array of images from areas as far apart as China, Thailand, New Zealand, the US and all areas of the UK & Ireland, but his presence on Artflakes is to promote his work to a pan-European audience at rates which save the prospective collector & buyer taxes, postage and import duties. As always, Graeme seeks to give his customers top service, and excellent value for money.

He hopes you enjoy his work, and thanks you for viewing
Artwork.

THE BIG CIRCLE

There`s no beginning and no end, the journey is inside us.
Be happy ! ( Mohicans )

Hi, I’m Yelena Dyumin, both a professional artist and art educator. The creation and refinement of my unique style of art has been something I've spent decades perfecting. Although I’m a current resident of Sydney, Australia, I was born and raised in Omsk, Russia. As a result of this mixed culture, my aim has been to blend my eclectic background in European art, experiences, and classics with the fresh Australian colors of both life and nature I've come to find.

I’m most passionate about painting and drawing and have been involved with the two since childhood. I've always loved the experience of losing myself in thought and diving into the world of art and imagination. This creative introspection allows me to produce art that is not only beautiful, but one-of-a-kind. I've been told again and again that this uncanny ability to illustrate the exceptional beauty of everyday life is what makes my artwork lovable.

Throughout my career, I've accumulated a vast repertoire of artistic techniques that have allowed me to better illustrate my intentions as an artist. My aim is to create unforgettable works and impart a deep emotional connection between objects and human beings whenever I begin a new piece. As a result, most of my work conveys the synthesis between Eastern and Western art, the figurative and the abstract, and the real and imaginary.

I am a highly educated and experienced artist as well as an accomplished lecturer specializing in painting, graphics, and art history/theory. I graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Painting at Omsk State University, with first class honors. About a year later, I began my 14 year career as a lecturer in Fine Arts at the same university. During that time, from 1992 -1994, I took an Advanced Master Course in Fine Arts at the Repin State Academic Institute for Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in St. Petersburg, Russia as well as a Professional Fine Arts Master Class at V.I. Surikov State Academic Art Institute in Moscow, Russia.

I've been involved in a number of professional organizations throughout my career such as the Russian Association of Painters & Sculptors and the Russian Academy of the Arts. Today, I am an active member of the Australian Multicultural Arts & Media Association. I have been featured in prominent art galleries and exhibitions in Russia, Europe, Asia, the Middle East as well as Australia.

As a result of my education and experience, my finely tuned mixed media techniques encompass numerous art forms such as acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastel, pencil, pen and ink, graphite, charcoal, etching, lithography and xylography.

I believe that my constant exposure to new ideas and types of art is what has allowed me to develop into the artist I am today.

I am a passionate artist and my ultimate aim is to focus on the quality of my work rather that the quantity of it and impart a small piece of myself as an artist into each and every one of my creations.

Hello, my name is Michael Beilicke!

It all started with the love for the north, the sea and the nature. Photographs taken on trips were the beginning of my work. In the course of time I occasionally experimented with image editing software and revised some of my photographs digitally. The material I’m using as a basis for the digital pictures is without exception my own. I do not use stock photos. I’m strongly tied to ‘iron and steel’ not only by photography but also through my profession, artistically. The fascination for this material is also reflected in my pictures.

The pictures which are displayed in the gallery, came into being in the German states Lower Saxony, Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein and in Scandinavia. I hope you enjoy my pictures and have a great time when taking a look around.

Therefore I pass on a regard originally addressed at myself with the following words:

”May there always be a good guiding light on all of your journeys, water under the keel, enough wind for the sails, a safe trip without any pirates on your way and a safe haven.”

Goodbye, Yours Michl

Classically trained in art since childhood, I began working with a camera at age ten. My favorite subjects in drawing, painting, and photography evolved into landscape and portraits. I have also pursued architecture, nature, still life, events, animals, and a host of other subjects. After college, studying art, theatre, and mass media, my working life took off in many directions, but a camera was always within reach. My serious pursuit of photography started in the 1980's as I obtained my first clients in the real estate industry. I established Agency Photographics, then Ron Cline Photographics, and in the 1990's, RCLINEPhotography. The RCLINE, hand written in all capital letters has been my artist's signature since the 1960's. My photography became digitalized by 2006, and I have since concentrated in the portrait, corporate/industrial, and landscape/nature areas, and I have built a client base in each. I have been establishing an internet presence for marketing my work, one of the many advantages of the digital photography age. Thank you for visiting my profile and gallery.

'Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it' (Confucius)

Originally from Lorient, in beautiful Brittany (Celtic part of France), Photography and Travels have been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember.

After graduating from an International School of Management specialized in Europe - Asia international business, I have been working as a consultant for European companies willing to expand their activities into Asian markets for over 10 years.

As part of my job, my travels have taken me to many parts of Europe and Asia as well as other locations around the globe, allowing me to photography the beauty of our world, its natural scenery, its people and its cities. My portfolio is thus mostly a spontaneous exploration of the world with my camera in hand.

Most of the time I use a Nikon D700 with a NIKKOR AF-S 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens. It's reliable, has a fast shutter speed, covers a wide range of shooting situations and you don't see noise even at 6400iso. I also sometimes use a Panasonic DMC-TZ7 if the situation does not me allow to use my D700.

I enjoy many types of photographic subjects and styles, but it is my love for artistic digital enhancement that really gets my heart pumping and creative juices flowing. While I have a few shots that are heavily manipulated, I prefer to apply subtle adjustments and changes. I touch up my 'digital negatives' in Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop to recreate and enhance what I felt and saw when the capture was made.

I particularly enjoy using texture layers, selective color or monochrome / duotone post-processing to create a very specific and unique atmosphere and mood in my images. This is certainly the reason why my photographic style has often been described as 'highly atmospheric'.
