I currently live in Plymouth, but grew up on the Mediterranean island of Ibiza, and the sunny seaside of Dorset. From grass to grey my journey has brought me to Plymouth city where I found my work rebelling against my country upbringing and reflecting a growing interest in the grunge and grime of the urban environment. Everything I discover around me has potential... urban detritus, peeling paint and filthy concrete structures. I find the ugly and mundane to be beautiful, its character and stories inspiring. Zsolt Vidak

Zsolt is a Hungarian illustrator He is 36 years old and lives in Budapest. He completed his studies at the Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design with honours in 2008.

He has illustrated for a number of local and international magazines, ad agencies, design studios and has been making illustrations and comics for Roham art magazine since. He has also designed several stamps for the Hungarian Post, the latest of which is for the Winter Olympic Games, Vancouver 2010. His work was also included in Lürzer's Archive 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide 10/11
