Model is Ophelias Overdose. all done with Mouse. maya was used for the base mesh and scene setup, ZBrush for sculpting, photoshop for texturing and final touches, mental ray for rendering (rendered in passes using mentalcore) and composited in Nuke.

As usual all done with mouse, modeling, sculpting and retopo were done in ZBrush, Maya for scene setup, mental ray for rendering, bodypaint for texturing and photoshop for both texturing and post-production.

This one also won the second prize at a local challenge long time ago. (the main concept is by an artist i saw on CA whom unfortunately i can't remember his name.)

Basically this was done almost 2 years ago for a local wacom contest which i won the second prize.
there was actually no initial sketch so everything was done on the fly. all the textures are hand-painted with Mouse along with sculpting.

During the process of this image i encountered serious technical and non-technical issues. anyway, it was a nice journey!

sculpting and most of the textures are done and hand-painted with Mouse. the inspiration comes from a painting i stopped by accidentally. i used maya for the base meshes, ZBrush for sculpting and texturing, mental ray for rendering, Photoshop for texturing and post-production, Shave and Haircut and pHairTK for the fur. there are roughly 13 million hair prims divided into five hair systems.
