The Suricate (Suricata suricatta) is a small mongoose or meerkat endemic to the Southern/Southwestern regions of Africa
They create large underground living quarters connected by many tunnels
Their habitat is mostly in the dry areas of the southwest
Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park on the border between northern South Africa and southern Botswana
