„Almost Home“

from the gallery of Claire Mesnil
Description:

oil/canvas, 80 x 120 cm/31 x 47 "
I always thought of a house as a living thing, that lives and sometimes dies with the people it hosts. Abandoned houses are like taking a break from life, waiting for someone to move in, to fill it with new energy. I love to morph houses, according a bit to breathing in and out. The thought about this work was about coming home after a long time. Nothing has really changed, just a stillstand, waiting for someone to come back again.
