Watercolour and ink travel sketch painting in impressionist expressionist style of a scene with boats and houses in the harbour of Porticello by Palermo in Sicily.

Porticello is the harbour of Santa Flavia, in the Province of Palermo, and it makes its living from fishing. You can imagine that it was full of fishermen boats and that it was heaven for me, considering how much I love boats.

From some places in the harbour, it was almost impossible to say where the boats ended and the houses began: looked partly very chaotic, but so charming!
