Dies ist ein Blick auf den Grand‘ Place in Brüssel. Als ich in Brüssel etwas Freizeit hatte und auf dem Grand’ Place spazieren gehen wollte, begann es heftig zu regnen. Ich musste mich im Eingang eines Cafés unterstellen und war fast geneigt, mich über die verlorene Zeit zu ärgern. Aber dann sah ich, dass der Platz auch im Regen eine besondere Poesie hat, und ich beschloss, den Anblick zu genießen, woraus dieses Aquarell entstand.

This is a view of the Grand’ Place in Brussels. One day when I had leisure time in Brussels ant wanted to stroll across the Grand Market a heavy rainfall began. I had to find shelter in the entrance of a café and started being annoyed and the time I was going to lose. But then I discovered that the rain had a charm of its own and I decided to enjoy the sight.
