„Bryant Park Ram's Head“

from the gallery of Jon Woodhams
Description:

Bryant Park—known as Reservoir Square in the 19th century, thanks to the massive distributing reservoir that was once on the site of the New York Public Library Building—is home to unique bronze lampposts covered in ornate ornamentation, each featuring four ram heads, and clawed feet at the base. Here is a detail photo, showing the beautiful bronze ram's head from one of the posts.
