Das Schöllkraut (Chelidonium majus) gehört zu den Mohngewächse und ist als giftig eingeordnet, es steht im Verdacht, für toxische Leberschäden (Hepatitis, Cholestase bis hin zum Leberversagen) verantwortlich zu sein. Das Schöllkraut wird aber auch in der Volksmedizin als Heilkraut empfohlen.
