Der Kölner Dom (Hohe Domkirche Sankt Petrus) ist eine der größten Kathedralen im gotischen Baustil. Sein Bau wurde 1248 begonnen und erst 1880 vollendet. Mit 157,22 Metern Höhe ist der Südturm heute der dritthöchste Kirchturm der Welt.
Der Dom gilt als Musterbeispiel für gotische Architektur.
