„"East of the Sun(west of the moon)"“

from the gallery of ducilla
Description:

The deserts of the western United States are a contradiction in the plan that nature provides. This area of the "Great Basin" of Nevada has mighty tall mountains(up to 13000 ft above sea level) and vast dry "plyas" that stretch as far as the eye can see. It is also the home to wonderful wetlands and beautiful lakes. This is "Indian Lake" in the central part of Nevada. The sun seems to set into the water as you look into the crystal clear high desert skies producing almost surreal colors and moods. This is taken near the small Nevada town of Fallon. I hope you can enjoy my version of "Big Sky Country"..dennis
