Herbst und Winter werfen ihre Schatten voraus. Ein Bild, zu schwermütig für Matisse, zu friedlich für Kirchner - irgendwo dazwischen, jedenfalls ein fauvistisches Fest der Farben. Für alle, die noch richtige Bilder mögen.

The late summer day takes a short break. The opulent blooming is exhausting. A peaceful picture, only a few black thoughts creep into the dream. Autumn and winter cast their shadows ahead. A picture too melancholy for Matisse, too peaceful for Kirchner - somewhere in between, in any case a Fauvist feast of colours. For all those who still like real pictures.
