Siesta in Hann. Münden

Die Stadt liegt im Landkreis Göttingen in Südniedersachsen, an der Grenze zu Hessen sowie unweit von Thüringen. Der Kernort ist ein staatlich anerkannter Erholungsort. Die Ortschaft befindet sich am Zusammenfluss von Werra und Fulda zur Weser. Deshalb wird die Stadt auch "Drei-Flüsse-Stadt" genannt. Über das oft verwendete Humboldt-Zitat, Münden sei "eine der sieben schönstgelegenen Städte der Welt", gibt es allerdings keine schriftlichen Aufzeichnungen
