Description:

The moorings on the riverside at Henley on Thames in Oxfordshire, England. Quiet now in winter but in summer a hive of activity with pleasure boats and visitors. In the background is the bridge built in 1786, now Grade 1 listed and with a weight limit for traction engines! To the left is the tower of the 16th century parish church of St Mary the Virgin. This stretch of the river is famous for boat racing and nearby is the River and Rowing Museum.
