Feine Pinsel strichen die Farbe über die Holzpaneele und den Rest besorgte die Luft. Ölfarbe trocknet an der Luft durch Sauerstoffaufnahme. Die ölhaltigen Substanzen der Farbe verhärteten auch bei diesem Bild.
