8×10 Pastels on #140 Strathmore Water Color Paper: My pastor posted a picture of his dear mother from Minneapolis on his FaceBook this weekend, and she was so sweet I felt compelled to try and draw her with pastels. I gave it to her this AM at church in Santa Monica. She just looked and looked at it, then said “Well it really does look like me.” I was so happy I almost cried.
