Description:

This spectacular natural gorge has been carved out of black lava by the relentless pounding of the Pacific Ocean. The twin waterfalls are an added treat. A very dangerous place to swim because of strong currents and difficulty scaling the wet cliffs. I saw several large green sea turtles grazing on algae in this gorge.
