Arabesque expresses the Islamic view of art and how it is represented to the world. This mandala has very appealing colors and spiritual connection to the spirit. The relaxing turquoise background bring peace and serenity, while geometric shapes and leafy formatting ornamental emphasis on spiritual bond between soul and 'Allah' (God).
Most of the motifs used here are from ancient Mesopotamia, Crete and Persian civilizations. I blend the content in an contemporary style to be more rewarding and engaging for global audience as well.
