Hike 8 miles round trip and 3000 feet in steady vertical gain to an alpine ridge on Mount Townsend Trail #839 in Buckhorn Wilderness, on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington, USA. Contact Quilcene Ranger Station, Olympic National Forest.
