Harlem ist ein Stadtteil im nördlichen Manhattan, der als eines der Hauptzentren afroamerikanischer Kultur in den USA gilt. Harlem hat eine reiche und vielfältige Geschichte, die von der niederländischen Kolonialzeit über die Harlem Renaissance bis hin zur heutigen Zeit reicht. Harlem ist bekannt für seine Musik, Literatur, Kunst, Religion und Aktivismus. Die Subway Station könnte auch mitten in Afrika sein, alles ist in Bewegung, ein buntes Durcheinander von Farben und Mustern. Ich habe versucht, die besondere Stimmung mit einer Langzeitbelichtung einzufangen.

Harlem has a rich and varied history, ranging from the Dutch colonial era to the Harlem Renaissance to the present day. Harlem is known for its music, literature, art, religion, and activism. The subway station could also be in the middle of Africa, everything is in motion, a colorful jumble of colors and patterns. I tried to capture the spezific mood with a long exposure.
