The amazing sight happens four times a year when the sun aligns at dusk, shining rays between the skyscrapers across New York from west to east.
Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, of the American Museum of Natural History, said: “Manhattanhenge may just be a unique urban phenomenon in the world”.
