Description:

This is Nicolette, who was a Nubian crossbred doe out of Saanen lines. She was red/brown, cream and white in coloring and quite spectacular, both in size and markings.

When we first got her, we had some difficulty settling her in. We would take her out to pasture with the herd and as soon as she realised we had walked away, she would coming running after us – and she could jump anything.

Finally, we let her hang around the A-frame cottage for a few days and she sat on the back step, with me sitting inside the open door. That’s when I did this drawing.
