................................................This piece was done with palette knife and brushes, which means that much of the color was laid on with a knife, one color at a time, building a three-dimensional effect with texture and depth. Details were added with a small artist's brush. The painting is uniquely square.
................................................It's a gray day. But that doesn't mean it is a sad day - it's just a lazy day. Time to get in the sailboat and float to who knows where. It doesn't matter, does it? Just float. You can drift. You can even close your eyes and dream. After all, it's a cloudy day.
