Description:

As I approached this female Osprey, who was sitting on a tall post beside a park baseball field, she suddenly turned her head and started crying out. I then saw a male Osprey nearby on a lower post getting ready to dine on his latest catch. She was warning him of my approach. Her mate then left the fish on the post and flew a short distance to their nest while she continued to eye me. Only after I left the immediate area did she fly to the fish and begin munching.
