Pandora
40,5 x 29,7 cm
I worked with collage, pencil, crayon, indian ink and acrylic paint on paper.
Pandora’s box was developed as another collage of the picture cycle ‘Panopticon’ currently comprising five pictures. Inspired by William Gibson's novel 'Pattern Recognition' Pandora was created with different photo fragments which were overdrawn and completed. In a new context things often change their meanings and refer to each other in a new way. All pictures of the 'Panopticon' project you can find in the illustration and graphic art section at ulrikebeck.com. http://ulrikebeck.com/home/illustration-and-graphic-art/project/panopticon
