At the end of a stormy day over souterhn Utah, a rainbow makes the most of the last rays of sun over Shafer Canyon in Canyonlands National Park.

The park itself covers more than 500 square miles of canyons and mesas carved by the confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers. It has been described as “the most weird, wonderful, magical place on earth—there is nothing else like it anywhere.”
