Reddish Egrets are genuine characters in the bird world. It is so much fun watching their awkward looking runs across the water in search of fish. This one, with several shakes over the course of a minute or two, transformed from a disheveled mop to a well-groomed egret. And I never, ever saw a brush or comb!
