Description:

Chelidonium majus blüht von Mai bis Oktober. Die Stiele enthalten einen gelben Saft. Plinius berichteten, dass die Schwalben mit diesem Saft ihre erblindeten Jungen heilen. Er soll auch gegen Warzen helfen. Gilt seit Jahrhunderten als Heilpflanze (z. B. Leber), aber Vorsicht, sie ist giftig.

Danke, hab immer was davon im Garten. Die Blätter sind auch sehr schön mit einem gewellten Rand. Die Blüten sind recht klein, aber bei näherem Betrachten offenbart sich ihre Schönheit.
