Description:

Little lake on top of Ush Konyr Plateau in Kazakhstan lit by the light of Milky Way.
Milky Way looks like a tree atop the mountains surrounding the lake.
This photo has won the Low Light nomination of Sony World Photography Awards 2013 Open Competition. I have applied a little different processing to this version, which I like better than the one that I submitted for the awards.
