„Statue of Christ in St Vitus Cathedral“

from the gallery of serenityphotography
Description:

St Vitus Cathedral (Katedrála svatého Víta) is situated within the grounds of Prague Castle, and is the most important church in the country. There has been church on the site since 925AD. Work started on the Gothic Cathedral you see today in the mid 14th century, but not finished until almost 600 years later. This long-exposure shot inside the cathedral shows a beautiful marble statue of Christ, which watches sedately, while a tourist rushes through the Cathedral.
