Saharawi people live in the refugee camps of the Algerian desert named Hamada, or desert of the deserts, since more than 30 years. Saharawi people have suffered the consecuences of European colonialism and the war against occupation by Moroccan forces. Polisario and Moroccan Army are in conflict since 1975 when Hassan II, Moroccan King in 1975, sent more than 250.000 civilians and soldiers to colonizate the Western Sahara when Spain leaved the country.
