Description:

Part of the ruins of Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds. One of the best preserved 12th century Cistercian monasterys in the country. Situated on the banks of the river Aire and surrounded by parkland it is a great place to visit. The museum, cafe and information centre are also worth a look.
