I live across a deep ravine from this old tower which is one of many built by the moors in the 12th century. Normally, I have not been able to see it from my roof terrace but they have just cut down a number of very tall trees growing on the edge and from the walls of the ravine which had become dangerous, threatening to fall and block the lane.

So, now that I have a beautiful view of it, I am happy to share it with you!
