The last time I visited Tuscarora Falls in the fall, there was so little water here that the plunge pool was almost totally dry. It looked very dark and eerie. When I approached this site from downstream on Wednesday, it completely took my breath away. The trees above the falls were as colorful as I have ever seen here. A friendly cloud enhanced the lighting of this shot a considerably.
