FAIRYTALE OF THE WIND: Once upon a time, in a fantasy land far, far away, there lived a beautiful stallion that was the mightiest of all the horses on the earth. When he ran, others could only gasp at his strength, form, and physique. The black stallion was so fast that he appeared out of nowhere and disappeared just as quickly, as if he galloped on the wind. With time, the people of the land named the Black Beauty "Wind" in honor of his speed and grace. And with the wind, he ran. Colors danced and sparkled in the beads of perspiration that grouped along the tendrils of his mane, much like reflections in the most perfect of raindrops. His beauty was unsurpassed, his spirit oblivious to the world around him. And then the mighty stallion disappeared, leaving behind him just a wisp of himself, a stir of the air - the Wind.

The creation of this piece was tedious. Hours and hours were given to the detail of the work, each tendril lovingly added one at a time with a mixture of materials and colors. The secret of the mix will remain forever with the artist, a memory on the wind.
