Sergio Silva Santos

Bryony Marie Fry is an Artist and a Musician born in 1988 in the U.K. She mainly produces unique multi-media pop art depicting images of Musicians. She also cover's many other subjects including nature, vintage fashion and digital artworks.

Pop Illustrated is artist/illustrator Julian Parry's ever evolving personal collection of artworks created through a mix of hand drawing and digital processes, the end results being "digital" artworks for print.

Julian is a seasoned freelancer with 15 years experience as a storyboards, concept and character design artist &
illustrator of many things for many people.

When I was a young actor, I had a small part in a Tennessee Williams play where I was called on to play the Spanish guitar. A photographer, the friend of a fellow cast member, liked to listen to me play in the dressing room. He asked if I would sell him my guitar. We ended up trading that guitar for his Nikon. He gave some basic info on what to do, and I started taking pictures of the cast, who then all lined up to buy prints. I never looked back.

Just a few years later, I was living in Europe and shooting assignments for major airlines and tour companies. I was able to travel to 57 different countries for these clients.

Ed Rooney

I studied 8 years at the prestigious Barnstone Academy directly with Myron Barnstone with emphasis on fine art photography. I attended Pratt University in Brooklyn, NY again with a fine art/photography major. Before graduating (and running out of money) I landed an apprenticeship with Francesco Scuvullo, noted fashion photographer, and my career was off to a flying start.

I have photographed for numerous international and local fashion publications as well as held exhibitions of my work in galleries around the globe.

I also have shot for Getty Images through Asia Image Group, doing lifestyle photography as well as taking freelance commissions to do everything from Portraits to Architectural photography for hotels, resorts and spas around Asia.

I am originally from Bethlehem,PA USA, but have spent most of my adult life in NYC. I am based in Singapore and have been for the last decade.

Schon immer faszinierte mich ein gutes Bild. Besonders Gesichter und Körperdetails haben mich schon immer sehr angesprochen.

Anfang 2004 legte ich mir, weil mal gerade das Geld zur Verfügung stand, eine digitale Spiegelreflexkamera inklusive Objektiven zu und begann zu üben.

Es fasziniert mich insbesondere immer wieder Menschen zu zeigen, dass nahezu jeder sich auf Bildern gefallen kann. Den Menschen zu zeigen: nicht fotogen gibt es nicht.
Jeder Mensch ist schön auf seine Art. Man muss es nur sehen und festhalten können. Das war mein Grund viele Menschen zu fotografieren, die außerhalb der “Norm” sind. Seien es 50kg oder gar 170kg gewesen. Seien es 16jährige oder reife Frauen bis zum Alter von 77 Jahren. Seien es kurzhaarige, langhaarige oder Frauen, die mit sich überhaupt nicht zufrieden waren:
ALLE sind bisher mit den Ergebnissen zufrieden, und das macht mich stolz.

Mittlerweile habe ich die dritte Kamera und mein Equipment auf eine Studioausstattung mit Blitzanlage und Hintergrundsystem erweitert. So bin ich zum Teil unabhängig von äußeren Einflüssen wie Wetter und kann, dezent und ungestört, Dessous, Teilakt oder Akt fotografieren.

Mit eigenem 100qm Studio und der entsprechenden Beleuchtung. Zum Teil mit Fahrzeug befahrbar.

Zudem ist dieses Hobby mittlerweile zu einer Therapie geworden, die mir, durch die Erfolgserlebnisse hilft, gegen meine vereinzelten depressiven Phasen anzugehen.
