Experience the wonders of the Blanket Islands in Dingle, Ireland through my lens as you embark on a thrilling Sea Safari. Marvel at the majestic rocks and encounter playful seals, adorable puffins, and graceful dolphins. The untamed rocks, standing tall amidst the crashing waves, serve as a timeless testament to nature's grandeur.

Getting to the Blanket Islands was an exhilarating adventure itself. With only a few companions, we braved the high waves of the Atlantic Ocean in a RIB, feeling the adrenaline rush as we sped towards our destination.

But our efforts were rewarded as we reached the Blanket Islands, capturing breathtaking views in my photographs. The raw power of the sea is palpable, immersing you in the beauty of nature.

If you long to cherish the splendor of the wild Atlantic Ocean, consider adorning your wall with this photograph. It will undoubtedly transport you to the awe-inspiring rocks of Blasket Islands, Dingle, Ireland.

With this abstract photo I wanted to create an image that looks as paint brushes in different colors.

The colors of the leaves in autumn can be very beautiful.

This picture is taken in the garden of Claude Monet. If you see those colors you immediately understands that Monet painted a lot in his own garden. He didn't had to go far to discover the wonderfull colors of our world.

On one of my travels through Denmark I was visiting the coast and discovered those beautifull black cobbles on the beach.

When I was passing this mountain lake I saw this perfect reflection of the sunny mountain in the water.

I passed already hundred times this lake and always the water is in movement. So never I had seen before such a perfect reflection.

So this is a very unique picture. The perfect conditions of weather. Sunny mountains with still some snow on it reflecting in the water.

What is more beautiful then a great sunset in the middle of a desert?
To reach this point surrounded of sand and dunes we had to drive a while by jeep.
To be able to run over the sand the tires of the cars have to be flattened to have more grip.
After the sunset we have to drive back to the camp in the dark.
But the result of the sunset above the dunes in the desert with some other jeeps and people was it worth.

When you walk in the French Alps you look always around if you can't see the highest mountain of Europe, the Mont-Blanc.
And the higher you walk the more change you have to see it off course.
When I saw this large waterreservoir with in the back the white peaks of the Mont Blanc I knew this was the right moment.
The dark blue color of the water combined with the green color of the grass creates a perfect summer mountain landscape.

This viewpoint on the artifical lake Monteynard is only accessible via an old train route. The railway was built in the past for the mine industry in the area and now it is a touristic attraction.
But ten years ago there was a landslide and the tracks were under the rocks. Only one year ago trains are running again and you can enjoy this phenomenal view again.
So I was lucky I could go up to this viewpoint to see the blue-green water of the waterreservoir.
Those are places where you stay looking around to take the most amazing picture.

After a long drive in the mountains you have the feeling you reached the end of the world. But when you even walk further then you can drive you can find majestic views on the mountains.
Like this one with an old house for shepherds in the Alps.
During our trip over the small paths we even encountered a snake
I hope you can feel just like me the incredible vastness of nature.

Can you imagine you are having dinner and see this beautifull sunset over the harbour?
Luckily I had my camera and tripod with me to capture this amazing evening.
Thanks to the long exposure the sunlight and clouds are reflected in the silky water and the photo becomes even more a fairy tale.

When I saw the special turquoise color of this fast flowing mountain river I wanted capture it together with the large rocks .
To make this photo I had to cross the river via the wooden bridge on the picture..
Thanks to a long exposure I could create the smooth, silky water effect to realize a dreamy situation.

Resulting in a beautiful picture with soft colors made in the one of the largest national parks of France.
Do you want also to jump into the river?

When I saw the special colors of this sunset at the Belgian coast I wanted to create a photo as it looks like a painting
It took me a few trials to find the right effect that I had in mind
Especially when a person was passing by it created the extra touch.
When you look the first time to this picture you have the feeling you are looking to a painting so my mission is accomplished.

The Danish Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse stands alone on a 60 meter high cliff in the middle of a large sand dune.
Shifting sands and coastal erosion are a serious problem in the area and it was expected that the tower would fall into the sea by 2023.
However they moved the lighthouse 70 meters inland.
Thanks to this relocation I still could take a picture of this beautiful lighthouse before it would have been damaged otherwise.
The move is expected to secure the future of the lighthouse at least until around 2060.

One summer there was still snow on the high mountain lake. As this was so exceptional I wanted to capture this magnificient view.
But the weather conditions have to be good to go to 3000 meters high to find this spot and on the other hand the longer you wait the less snow there will be.

As this picture was taken during Covid-19 also the amount of people who could take the cable car to go up was limited.

Finally we could go up with the cable car and walk to this mountain lake.
But it was worth the effort because the environment was amazing and I hope you feel just like me the incredible beauty of nature.

The Mandø island is one of the Danish Wadden Sea islands and has a very large beach at low tide.

As the island is only accessible at low tide it was very crucial to take the tides into account not to be blocked in open water when crossing the sea to reach the island.

At low tide the water is so low and the beach very large that the wooden pillars are visible.

Thanks to the green-yellow colors you get a dramatic effect.

The Choranche Cave is one of the most beautiful in France with thousands of bright white stalactites.
The very small stalactites are up to 3 meters high but only a few centimeters or even millimeters width.

This picture was taken during Covid-19 and the places to visit the cave were very limited. On the other hand this gave also the opportunity to take this beautifull picture without other visitors on it.
But as I had the follow the group I had to be very fast to take this picture. I could only stay a short moment behind the group before they switch off the lights.
But the reflection of the rock and stalactites in the water of the lake are showing an unbelievable underground world.
