Hot air balloons cavort across Albuquerque all year long, not just during Balloon Fiesta. I caught this one down low outside my front door as it came close to the leafless Mulberry tree this past winter. It was very low, close to hitting the tree, and my house, but a burst of propane took it back up. I made a collage to show it rising. 1st half of a diptych
