Perfect as a slightly unusual and novel Greetings card to wish your loved ones and friends a very Happy Christmas.
Last year, I visited the Christmas Markets in Cologne (Koln) in Germany. Cologne, as do many German cities, has a tradition of hosting these Christmas Markets, where several areas of the cities are set aside for stalls selling seasonal goodies. It is something I can recommend to anyone and it is wonderful pottering around refilling your mug of hot Gl?hwein (a hot drink of wine with spices) and grazing from the foodstalls and looking at the arts and crafts, decorations and other gift ideas. There is only so much boozing and shopping you can do, so we visited Das Schokoladenmuseum, the "Chocolate Museum" where I came across this delightful nativity scene in a gourd, from one of the African cocao producing countries. I took this at f/1.8 on the canon 85mm f/1.8 lens to get the very shallow DOF focusing on the baby Jesus.
