Description:

Great Haseley Windmill in South Oxfordshire looking out over the Thames Valley and the Chiltern Hills. This fine stone windmill started life in about 1760 as a corn mill attached to the local estate. It seems to have worked until the end of the First World War after which it fell into a state of neglect. However, in July 2009 a full restoration project began and in 2014 the new sais and fantail were fitted This is a tower or 'cap' mill, the top being turned to face the wind.
