Kirsten Obermeier

Born and raised in the suburbs of Hamburg, Germany, I came to the United States in early 2015 to find a way to turn my art into a career.
I am currently a student at Eastern Florida State College for Graphics Technology.

Painting and drawing has always been a kind of therapy for me. My art is usually very personal, and often almost a visualized journal or diary. Every time I share a piece of art, I share a piece of myself.
About half-way through 2016, I began learning to make digital art with Adobe products. There is beauty in both art-forms.

My paintings have first been exhibited in Tuebingen, Germany in '11, and last in August '16 at the ArtServe Gallery in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
