Russ Dixon

Inspiration for my work comes from many of the great photographers such as Brassai, Ansel Adams, Bill Brandt, and Robert Doisneau. These influences lead me to create dark, moody and gritty images, usually in monochrome, but I can transfer the same feelings into colour as well.

My subjects are very varied, one day I could be shooting a classic & beautiful landscape, whilst the next day could see me shooting dark and gritty images in an abandoned building.
