The Caerfanell River (Afon Caerfanell) which flows into the Talybont Reservoir just above the Talybont Reservoir in Powys, South Wales. The river rises in the Brecon Beacons National Park, on the plateau of Gwaun Cerrig Llwydion, dropping steeply through waterfalls at Blaenyglyn before flowing into the reservoir. It emerges below the dam having produced electricity for the local area and continues on to join the river Usk at Llansantffraed-juxta-Usk.
